Start with where the ornament will go.
A retail assortment, client gift and busy commercial display create different requirements. Describe where the bauble will be placed, who handles it and how often it is packed away.
Review glass with the actual sample.
Glass ornaments can suit collections where the visible finish and decorative detail are central to the design. Review the selected item in person and ask how it is protected in unit and outer packaging.
Understand what shatterproof means for your project.
We offer plastic Christmas balls described as shatterproof. This does not mean every item is damage-proof or suitable for every environment. Confirm its finish, dimensions and handling requirements for the intended use.
Compare printed designs on both materials.
Full-surface, partial and logo printing are available on glass and plastic balls. Artwork can appear different on different base finishes. Confirm coverage and appearance through the sample process.
Prepare a useful comparison.
Ask for the same information for each option: actual dimensions, weight where available, print area, sample images, unit packing and quotation quantity. This makes the two proposals easier to compare.
Ask before choosing.
If the item will be used in a public venue, tell the supplier about the location and ask for relevant product information. Do not infer fire, weather or other suitability from the word shatterproof.
